Analysing Romantic Comedy Film Social Media Pages - Introduction

As a part of my marketing campaign I will be looking at different film's social media pages to help advertise my film. I have noticed that social media pages have similar conventions regardless of the genre the film belongs.

I am going to look at five films from the romantic comedy genre to to see if there are consistent conventions across the social media pages, and to find how these might be influenced by genre. I will look at various social media pages, such as Instagram, Facebook and X.

The films I have chosen are:

'Isn't it Romantic?'

'The Lost City'

'The Hating Game'

'What Happens in Vegas'

'After'
