Closer Analysis of Theatrical Trailers - Introduction
A theatrical trailer is a preview of an upcoming film. They usually come out a significantly long amount of time before the film release date (can be over a year before). Theatrical trailers are used to generate excitement for the audience and to provide them with a rough storyline and a glimpse of what's to be expected in the film. It includes more information about the film than the other trailers by including more images from the film and shows some characters and their traits. It typically has slower editing than the other types of trailers and usually lasts around 2 and a half minutes.
