Romantic Comedy - Music

The music in romantic comedies tends to be quite upbeat and happy, to reflect the mood of the film which is positive and vibrant. Romantic comedies tend to consist of happy pop songs, and one is often played during the trailer. 

Different types of songs are used for different types of scenes. An example of this would be if a character was in a rush the music would be faster, or if there was a breakup then the music would be slower and more depressing.
